Dance Your Way to Fitness

Like most individuals who are over size 10 and not happy about it, I struggled with weight loss for most of my life. Nothing I tried to lose weight ever seemed to work for me. When I finally achieved weight loss success, I realized that no matter what pill, program, or diet you try, weight loss success comes down to your personality, lifestyle and deciding what you can live with.

P90X Extreme Home Fitness Review

P90X, made my Tony Horton, is not for the weak and frail. This is a tough program for most people to do, but it gives real results. This is the single best home DVD fitness program I've seen. The product cosistes of 13 DVDs, a fitness book and a nutrition book. The first DVD is "How to Bring It," which just tells you what P90X is all about and what you will be doing. The rest of the DVDs are focused on various muscle groups, like chest and back, shoulders and arms, legs and back, covering all muscle groups in the body.

My New Year's Fitness Resolution and How I Plan to Keep It

Okay, so we are already 18 days into the new year but that is no reason not to still be thinking about resolutions. Like the millions of other people out there I too have a resolution and it is one of the more common ones. My resolution for 2010 is to get into better shape. Now I wouldn't consider myself to be in bad shape by any means, but I also know that there is room for improvement. So, it is my hope for 2010 to decrease my body fat, increase my muscle mass, my strength, power, and cardiovascular conditioning.

Fitness: Staying Motivated from Start to Finish

1. Patience, patience, patience. One of the reasons that exercise programs rarely work for people is because we are not brought up to wait. We know to stay away from Diet pills and "too good to be true" exercise programs on TV, but they do look so tempting - just fifteen minutes a day and six weeks to a perfect body? Sign me up!

Product Review: Tony Little Gazelle Edge Fitness System

Keeping my body in shape has always been important to me. I use to go to the local gym but I found myself procrastinating to go. I didn't feel like getting dressed and driving to the gym. The cost of the gym seems to really add up with a fee of $49 dollars a month. I decided a great way to avoid the procrastination and the cost would be to buy an exercise equipment that I could use in the privacy of my own home. I did research on the different types of equipment and finally found one that I really like. The Tony Little Gazelle Edge Fitness System is wonderful for so many reasons.

Celebrity Fitness/Diet Guru Harley Pasternak Offers the 5-Factor Diet; Is it a Fad?

The 5-Factor Diet, created by Harley Pasternak, has the potential to be a fad diet, but I'm still not sure. It's interesting. On the one hand, Pasternak encourages healthy eating, telling his customers to eat five small, healthy meals a day and balancing it with exercise. On the other hand, the fact that Pasternak has one part of his website devoted to the celebrities he's "helped" over the years is off-putting.

So what's involved in the 5-Factor Diet?
