Review of Buff Moms Beyond Baby Body Workout Video: The Complete Post-Natal Cardio Body Program - As a fitness junkie, I'm always on the market for a hard workout video that is challenging, long and requires both weights and easy to follow cardio. Lacking some in the coordination department, I prefer cardio that is simple to catch on to. I also like a hard, constant pace, and hate breaks that may slow down my heart rate. From the moment the workout video begins, I want to be challenged constantly.For me, appearance is everything in a workout video. I like my instructors to be fit and happy, without being over the top or obnoxious. In the Buff Moms DVD, the instructor is bubbly, fit, personable and energetic. She is joined by 2 back up girls who, while fit, look like regular women. The DVD is set in a colorful, bright studio.
A Fast Paced, Hard Workout
The Buff Moms workout video is fast paced and fluid. The instructor moves quickly into each movement but at a pace that you can keep up with. Since the movements aren't complicated, it's easy to move along with her and never miss a beat. There's about 10 seconds between each segment, but each one starts immediately, so that by the time the 45 minutes is up, you have been moving constantly.
For Women of All Fitness Levels
Buff Moms Beyond Baby DVD is great for those looking to get back in shape and those just trying to maintain their fitness level or up the challenge. Since the fitness video is broken up into 4 sections, each 10 minutes long, you can pick and choose how hard you want your workout to be. For the newbie, try segments 1 and 4 for a week, then add on segment 2. After another week, add segment 3.

Easy workout with about a minute of stretching, minimal weights and some basic cardio.
Cardio Groove & Tone 2
This segment jumps right into the workout with lunges, rows, shoulder presses, twists, squats and moderate weights.
Cardio Groove & Tone 3
This segment really kicks up the workout with faster, harder movements and more weights.
Tummy Toners & Hips Stretch
This segment includes planks and push-ups, along with some back and ab movements that really stretch out the lower back. Requires a chair and pillow. More stretching and cool down follow.
